1. Narrow grip of the Gymstick
2. Start extension from the back of your neck, use the full range of motion
3. Try not to move your upper arm during the exercise
4. Elbows should not spread to the sides but stay close to your head for the whole exercise
5. Standing on one knee: loops set to rear foot; other positions: loops set to both feet
