1. Set the loops on both of your feet
2. Lift the stick above your head. Take a very wide grip of the stick
3. Keep your heels on the ground for the duration of the movement
4. Keep your arms straight and over your balance area for the duration of the movement (over your feet)
5. Bend your knees in a straight line with your feet
6. Keep your back straight
7. Pick a spot on the opposite wall and concentrate on it when squatting
8. Your feet should be turned slightly outward
9. Hold your breath when descending
